Strategic Litigation

We run strategic or public interest litigation – cases that raise issues of wider public importance that have the potential to improve things for other people, beyond the individual case. These may be challenges to unfair or unlawful policies or practices and are likely to brought by way of judicial review proceedings.  They may also arise from ‘Article 2’ inquests or inquiries where the broader circumstances of a death may lead to a wide-ranging investigation and recommendations for reform. Many of our clients want to know that what happened to them will not happen to someone else and they want to bring about wider change. Strategic litigation is a way of making that happen.
